Trained in classical piano from childhood at the Conservatory, Ken Mauron has spent fifteen years developing a contemporary voice influenced by Ludovico Einaudi, Yiruma and Chopin. This repertoire is the oldest and most personal foundation of his work: it is where everything began, long before his encounter with the ancestral instruments of the Orient and Asia that now shape the Cinematic Soundscapes universe.
His recitals offer an intimate journey — pared-back melodies, inhabited silences, restrained dynamics — where the instrument becomes a direct vehicle for emotion, narrative and introspection. The writing favors clarity of motif and inhabited repetition over demonstrative virtuosity: each piece unfolds as a short narrative, carried by the same intent of sincerity and simplicity.
